At the MHS Hockey Parents/Players meeting on December 8, all players were given 20 raffle tickets to sell. These raffle tickets will be pulled at home games starting in January, and will also be pulled retroactively for the December games.
This is a MAJOR fundraising effort to support all three teams. Funds raised from this effort go toward the purchase of most of the practice ice that the teams use, as well as the purchase of equipment (including the new pant shells this year), extra buses, and other expenses that help to ensure the continued success of the program. Every player benefits from this fundraising, and every player is expected to participate.
Players that sell 10 tickets will get a commemorative yearbook. Players selling 15 tickets will attend the team banquet free of charge. Players selling all 20 tickets will have their name entered into a contest for Bruins tickets and other various prizes.
ALL RAFFLE TICKETS SOLD WILL BE COLLECTED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:
Tom Lema will collect from the Varsity players at the 12/29/09 practice.
Bob Parrelli will collect from the JV White players at the 12/29/09 game.
Dave Evans & Dave Denton will collect from the JV Green players at the 12/29/09 and 12/30/09 games.
The 29th will be here before you know it. We are holding off on collections so that you can use the holiday period to sell raffle tickets to all those relatives you'll be spending time with. Please get out and sell them all soon, and please be sure to adhere to the collection dates!
